This proposal is for a twelve story high-rise addition to the Greenville Center. The New Castle County Land Use Department found the proposal to be “unacceptable”, adding that “this project cannot proceed as a Redevelopment Plan”. The plan will be amended and resubmitted.
The next meeting is opportunity for public comment on these plans at the Planning Board Hearing scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, 2008 Multi-Purpose Room of the Gilliam Building, 77 Reads Way at 7 p.m. The Land Use Department professional planners will carefully consider your comments if your remarks are within the parameters of county code.
